American Love Story is a compilation of documentary shorts and narrative film vignettes that have been shot over the course of eight years, exploring how human trafficking is perpetuated in the United States within our cultural systems and attitudes. The footage will be woven into an interactive website charting the story of how it looks to build lasting solution over time and how city systems and sectors can hurt or help the issue. American Love Story has been awarded three grants, including an Austin Film Society Grant.

Moira is a silent experimental film that tells the story of a young woman dealing with the aftermath of rape. Shot on the CP-16 and then cross-processed, Michelle worked with cinematographer, Ellie Ann Fenton, to create the film's unique look. Moira's score, written by Jen Seale, is a blend of instruments and choral vocals that help convey the emotion Moira is feeling in each scene.
